Solid app! Brilliant use of the bit torrent protocol. A cloud backup system that is actually, for real in the cloud (where "cloud" doesnt have to mean "other peoples computers")

Love the way I can move files from PC to phone or pad, but for media... Need to have a way to cast them to a TV.... Through AppleTV or Chromecast.

After transferring media files, not all video formats play.... And it would be great to be able to stream to Chromecast or AppleTV once the file is local

I appreciate the developers letting us have this one for free. They are the only game in town and probably know it. Dont tell them, but I would gladly pay $20 for this app.

I started using this to move executable files from my laptop into my Pebble watch. Since the Pebble "install" works on the same port as opensim, and Im always running a server there, this works better for me. Also, I dont like giving my files to Dropbox. Plus, this is cross platform! Wonderful app! I also use it to view company documents on various machines in my home and office, since they are not shared to any central server.

The system syncs my phone photos, allowing me to delete them from my phone.

I was able to share huge files with lots of people and nobody got confused.

Its a great time! And with this, I can have access to unlimited sources!

There are tons of cloud storage services like iCloud and Microsofts OneDrive that help you get files where they need to be, but it always involves slow uploading, slow downloading, tedious file-hunting, buggy filing, awkward saving, and paying. Sync cuts all of that BS and uses the most convenient and, imo, efficient method to share files. Why do I need to throw my files into some random server halfway across the world when my own PC can do the job?

This app is fast and I can transfer file from my computer in a matter of seconds. As reliable as your connection!

The service as a whole is great. I havent been asked to review the app yet, so here is hoping that I dont get asked to review this version... It looses 4 stars when this happens.

Since last update from a few days ago the app crashes when you attempt to access any folder making the app useless.

Needs background app refresh functionality and thumbnail views for pictures but freakin awesome otherwise!

I have Dropbox and other great cloud storage apps. I never used this app because it seemed unnecessary. But I thought about all the band with wasted when uploading to the cloud and then downloaded to my computer, and then delete it. This app is direct and the uploads are much faster. It has a great and easy interface.

•This app: Awesome for transferring files back and forth between your iPhone/iPad and computers. Very fast, no fluff, have used it for a few versions now, cant remember a single crash. •Getsync as a whole: Ive set up so many different cloud servers over the years, home brewed a few even, and getsync is hands down the very best.

Instant crash to home screen upon launch of the latest updated version. Never had that problem before.

Use it to transfer jpgs to iMessage for customer approvals, collaboration goes faster between me and those involved.

You will find out that the sync is faster because BTS is smart enough to sync across a LAN when possible compared to Dropbox. This will replace 99% of what you use Dropbox for and is more secure because the data resides on your hardware and not in the cloud unencrypted where the police or government can flag your data without your knowledge. Do yourself a favor and give it a spin. You wont regret it.
